More discoveries followed today. I learned of the reason that little, insignificant building, just north of Ardougne exists- chaos druids!
Sure, I knew these things existed. I knew they were good for herbs, and I knew they could be found in Edgeville and Taverley dungeon. But neither of there places are very near to banks, so I'd never bothered collecting herbs/training in this way. But when I found out how close the "chaos druid tower", as it's known, is to Ardougne, I jumped straight into action.
The druids drop herbs, I'd estimate about 70-80% of the time. However, if you really want to profit from this, don't bother picking up guam, marrentill and tarromins- but pick up everything else. This is what I did, and to my suprise, I managed to make 200k in just under an hour!
As a result of this, as well as a general lack of time to play RuneScape today, I only made a couple of hundred tiaras, so I didn't really progress all that much with my crafting project. Oh well. I'm now 200k up.
Rest assured, I'll be using that method more often to line my pockets when I'm feeling not-so-well-off. Which is quite a lot of the time, if I'm honest.
But I promise, I'll be back to my crafting tomorrow, and my Friday or possibly even Friday, I'll have level 80. Which is just as well, because I'm starting to get bored of silver now.
