I spent part of today working on my poor, poor agility level. At 11am this morning, it was at 36, and in a couple of hour's time, I reached 40. Great. Now my third lowest skill (yes, I have got levels under 40) is not quite so low. Yipee!
To try and speed up the process a little, I spent out and bought a dozen super energy potions, which I couldn't have done with out. I owe those four levels entirely to these magical little bottles!
As you've probably guessed, agility is not my favourite skill. It's one of those skills that you don't see much point in training, a bit like firemaking, except firemaking is easy to level and strangely, not as boring as agility. Don't ask me why- it just is.
So, I'm proud of my 40 agility, which is just as well, because I won't be training it for a long time now. Four levels in as many months is more than enough!
After my quick agility interlude, I had a go at Slayer- an excuse to try out my recently aquired dragon scimitar, and an opportunity to prove to myself that it really isn't worth doing the quest to get. Nevertheless, I did manage to rack up 50k odd attack experience and a few thousand Slayer points, in just one Ankou task. Not bad, I thought.
Shortly after, I started my new project for the next week or so- 80 crafting. Up until now, all of my crafting experience came from bow strings, which is one of my major sources of income. Although profitable, this is a very slow method of reaching 77 in a fairly time-consuming skill. Today, I decided, "this has got to change", so I set about finding out a quick was to reach 80. Tiaras.
I need to craft about 9k tiaras to gain these three levels, an investment that will cost me a cool 1.6 mil. But need's must. I'm not sure at the moment exactly what those needs are, but I'm sure it'll come in handy some day.
So far today, whilst writing "yesterday's" post, I managed to make about 1.5k tiaras, which earned me an admirable 80k experience. Not bad for a few hours half-hearted training.
No prizes for guessing what I'll be doing for the next week and a bit!
