I've had a change of plan.

No longer is this going to be a weekly blog, but now, it's a DAILY blog. This will hopefully make everything a lot more interesting for you!

I've decided to use this blog more as a diary. I'll be posting what I've been doing every day, complete with screenshots, but also I'll be writing a weekly "feature article", which will be on a number of different subjects, sometimes not RuneScape :)

Anyway, because I've only just decided to do this, this post is actually for yesterday, but don't worry, today's entry will be along later :D

So, what have I been doing? Well, today I completed my first quest since Summoning came out- Monkey Madness, and for a level 100, I must say, I've left it a bit late.

You know, Monkey Madness sums up for me everything I hate about quests, which is why I never do them, unless I feel I have to for some reason.

The quest was long, not particularly interesting, and to be honest, the reward wasn't all that great. Sure, a dragon scimitar will, I'm sure, come in useful at some point, but frankly, I've never had any use for one so far in my five-year RuneScape career.

And the experience was, I admit quite good, but had I not done the quest and used the time to train, I could have got most, if not all of that experience anyway.

I don't have a valid reason why I decided to do it. I guess I was a touch embarrassed about my measly 100 quest points (and that's with Monkey Madness), and not being able to wield, what is only a dragon weapon, was a tad unusual for a player of my level.

So I did it. I hated it.

It wasn't particularly difficult as far as combat was concerned, and it wasn't even the length of time it took me to finally finish it. It was the boredom that got to me most.

I've played Castle Wars for twice as long as it took me to do that damned quest, but the difference is that I ENJOY Castle Wars, which is significantly more than can be said for the quest.

I don't do quests for a reason- I don't like them. I find them boring, tedious, and a lot of the time pointless. Monkey Madness for no exception.

I hadn't done a quest for months, since Summoning came out, and I doubt I'll be able to bring myself to do another one any time soon.
