  • IMPORTANT - RuneVoyage open!

RuneVoyage has now been officially opened (although it has actually been online for the last couple of days).

This blog has now been permanently moved there, so any posts after this one are now on RuneVoyage.com.

Due to some technical and design issues, I have been unable to move the previous posts over for the time being. Until I figure out a solution, they will remain here.

Just to repeat what I've just said above... RuneVoyage is now open and this blog has now been moved there. It can be found at blog.runevoyage.com, or just go to RuneVoyage.com and look around.

  • Construction mad

I've been planking like mad for the past two days. So far, I've planked 3k oak logs and used up 500 of them, earning me level 69 Construction. Nearly at that magical 70!

I've also been putting some last finishing touches to RuneVoyage, and I'm now ready to start moving stuff over. As I said in my last blog, this process of manually moving the blog to the new website will take some time, but nevertheless, I'm fairly confident that everything will be up and running by Saturday. Unless something happens to change that, which it routinely does!

  • Combat, construction and combat

Suprisingly, and not at all to plan, I've spent today training combat, more specifically, strength.

I reached level 77 strength, and also got level 80 hitpoints. Both of these together earnt me level 102 COMBAT!

After this, I decided a little construction was in hand, seeing as I haven't made much progress on it over the last couple of weeks. I planked up 1k oak logs, and have started using them up, although I only managed to get through 200.

Anyway, yesterday, I didn't blog, because I wasn't on RuneScape at all that day. I thought I should take a day out to concentrate on the website, which I am pleased to say is making excellent progress. I'm now more or less ready to start moving this existing blog over, although this will probably take a couple of days because I'll have to do in manually.

As promised, RuneVoyage is now a joint fan/help site and blog, which also includes the Featured Articles. Both the blog and articles have their own little section in the site, so it's really easy to find your way around and locate what you're looking for, at least I think so anyway.

At the moment, it looks like RuneVoyage will be up and running possibly by Friday, but by the end of the weekend at the absolute latest. When this happens, this blog will cease to exist- there will just be a placeholder post to re-direct you to RuneVoyage.

  • Changes are afoot

As you've probably noticed, there hasn't been a blog for the past two days. This is because I've been extrememly busy and have had very little time for either RuneScape or this blog. This is why I'm going to be making some changes in the near future...

Very soon I'm going to move this blog and encorporate it with RuneVoyage, so it's all one big website. I'm also going to be changing how often I add to this blog. Currently, I'm writing here every day, and as you know, very often I only write a few lines because a lot of the time, I'm only doing one thing in RuneScape- fletching for example. When I'm doing this for a few days at a time, it seems quite pointless writing at all. So, my new plan is to write about twice a week- sometimes more, and sometimes less- depending on what I've been doing.

I'm also aiming to increase the amount of Featured Articles I write, and will give these their own little section in the website. Talking of which, I'm also going to be spending more time developing and writing for RuneVoyage.

All of this will hopefully be happening quite soon, but due to my very unorganised life, this may be anywhere between the next couple of days and the next couple of weeks. I don't know.

  • Fletching galore!

I've spent what little RuneScape time I've had today getting 92 fletching. As I was only about 150k away, it took me little over an hour to reach, which was lucky really, because if it had taken much longer, I wouldn't have had time to complete it.

Yess!! At last, I've finally got level 90 cooking! This is my second skill to reach 90+.

    90 cooking

Next up is 92 fletching. I'm only 125k off it, so it won't take me long at all. In fact, I may even have it done my tomorrow.

After that, I'm returning to Construction. However, after all of that cooking, I'm now running a little low on money, so I'm probably going to do something to earn myself a bit, before I continue Construction.

Anyway, for now, I'm off, so I'll be seeing you soon!

  • Oh dear...I messed up...

Oops. When I was writing the last blog entry on Friday, I neglected to remember that I'd be out the following day. So, when I said I'd have 90 cooking by yesterday, that was a lie as I didn't have time for anything. Please accept my apologies.

I've tried to make up for lost time today. I've got 89 cooking easily, and am now about 200k off 90. So I haven't quite managed it.

All in all, a bit of a cock up on my part.
, so which I am eternally sorry for.

  • Last day tomorrow?

I got to about where I predicted today- about 100k off 89 cooking.

Depending on how it goes, I may be able to reach 90 tomorrow! I'm beginning to get really fed up of cooking as well, so it won't be a minute too soon either.

Happily, I've continued to be able to sell my cooked tuna instantly in the Grand Exchange, which if you remember when I started this cooking, I didn't think I'd be able to do. I've managed to save hundred of thousands because of this- I was originally thinking I'd be forced to sell to the general store. This has also meant I won't run out of money before I finish!

  • 30 million!

I was browsing the hiscores today, looking to see where I was in the rankings. Much to my suprise, I found that I was as 29,900,000 (roughly) total experience. Of course, today's cooking gave me quite a bit of experience, so I've now reach 30 million!

    Yay!

Unfortunely, I didn't quite have time to get 88 cooking, but I'm under 50k away, so I've virtually got it.

Tomorrow, I'd estimate I'll finish up about half way between 88 and 89, so I'll have 90 by Monday easily...hopefully...

  • Not long now!

Today saw yet more cooking. In an attempt to make it that little more interesting, I decided to do some in a PvP world- just to add a bit of spice to the otherwise very repetitive training.

This worked well, until the inevitable happened and I was killed. Obviously all I lost was a few tuna, but getting back to Catherby was just a pain. So, I decided to abandon that idea, and returned to a normal world.

All in all, a quite disappointing day. Disappointing because I didn't reach level 68- in fact, I only got half way there- 200k more experience to go, and still two more levels after that.

It seems that my hope of finishing by tomorrow was, as expected, quite optimistic, but at least I tried. I would estimate Friday, but I fear that will mean going past another deadline. Ah well...nobody ever said it was easy.
